Gavitt, whose father, Dave, chaired USA Basketball from 1989-92, said: “In my role overseeing men’s college basketball, I truly appreciate knowing I am directly impacting young student-athletes pursuing their dreams. It is even more satisfying to know I will now continue to stay connected with some of them as they move from the collegiate ranks to representing the USA.”
